hey i ordered a tricked out 140bhp TSI Model

and i drove a GTI Mark V last night and boy does it go

cant remember as its 7 weeks ago and had sales man in car on test drive

but does the 140 go like the gti ??? obviously slower , but does it have the pull
 
because i want to

also to find out more things i may not know about it

Why do I get the feeling that the roads would be a much safer place if you were restricted to an engine with much less power?

You bought a car 7 weeks ago and you want to learn about it now? Oh happy day for the salesman.

As a suggestion, maybe he can fill the gaps in your knowledge-base retrospectively or give you loads of Golf brochures or refer you to http://www.volkswagen.ie.
 
I have read that the GT is a better car than the GTI for the money your shelling out.
