My dads birthday is coming soon & my mum is looking to get him a Caddy Car. I know you can pay 200 upto 700 & beyond. Any golfers out there who can recommend any particular one, or a deal that's out there? I've seen them in Woodies & those type of places but would like to make sure that what I get is reliable.

Give the cheaper ones a wide berth...in my experience they give nothing but heartache. Making an electric trolley for that sort of money just isn't feasible. Go for a Powakaddy Freeway Titanium or a Powakaddy Classic Legend. They retail for €549 and €449 respectively, the difference being the Freeway is one piece where as the Legend splits into three pieces. Personally I prefer the cheaper one because it fits better in a car boot. They're both the same weight. Powakaddy would be the most established name and have service agents in Ireland.
Most golf stores would stock the Powakaddy.

Powakaddy are the one to go for if you can stretch the budget. Those one in Woodies and such places are not reliable. Best advice is to ask in a golf shop where they know what they are talking about. Not much use asking the spotty teenager in Woodies unless you want a dose of the "wha?"

Thanks for that bit of info - with the weather we're having & all that, it makes sense to pay an extra few quid. McGuirks have that legend model for 450 Euro - I'll see can I get them to knock it down a bit.
