golenpages advertisements

Hi, I planed to obtain 3 quotes from roofing traders. There are a number of full page advertisements in the new o2 Cork goldenpages edition. But somebody has informed that there are a number of different full page advertisers with different phones and addresses but in fact are owned by the same owners?
Does anybody know which full page advertisements in the roofing section are connected to the same owners? as I wish to obtain 3 independent quotes from unconnected traders. thanks

Thats a well known fact,same here in Dublin.

You will often find that its a group of family members or people who are related to each other that are all in the roofing business and all work together,but they place ads under different business names to "corner the market".

Hi, Yes is is amazing that all of the full page advertisements in the roofing section of the latest o2 golden pages appear to be independent traders based on phones, address and advertised content but all 10 traders are linked to the same two family network. You have to look at the other smaller text size ads to get an independent quote! None of the ten traders with full page ads are registered on CRO as a business. Also some of the "traders" use the logo of the national guild of master craftsmen but are not members of the guild. So people need to do their homework before they let their fingers do the walking.
