Gold coins.

Can anyone tell me is there any place in this country where i can see Gold coins before buying them.There is plenty of sites on the internet where you can check/buy online but starting out i would like to see before i buy.

An antique dealer? A coin specialist?

Apologies admins, as I've posted this elsewhere on Gold Coins, but I think its necessary. There's a wave of gold bullion scams at the moment. paypal is no safety net whatsoever.

I tried to flag eBay to a potential scam (that's currently on auction today) and they reprimanded me for providing an external link. Muppets.

Not just commemorative stuff. All coins. be v v careful and study the seller's feedback carefully

Gold coins are selling at something like 30%-40% above the spot price.

I cant see this as great value. ETF's however are far cheaper and IMO better value.
