Going to Claregalway this coming week with two kids and looking for ideas on where to eat out in Galway city with children.

It kind of depends on their age...toddlers..school children..teenagers...
 
the food in the abbey pub in claregalway is very good. the furniture is dated but dont let that put u off. the hotels also have nice food but the abbey is better.

as for galway, there are about 7 supermacs there - take your pick!!
 
anytime I am in Galway I eat in Park house near the station, not far from Eyre square, you can have food in bar or restaurant
 
Went to Abbey in Claregalway and bsloe you were spot on, food was the best food we've had in a long long time also the dated decor was a welcome change from the oh so fashionable trend in pubs recently.

The Galleon in Sathill is very good and actually advertise being child friendly too. Was in al Muretto in Forster Court recently fantastic Italian food and seemed to be well able to cater for children too.
