Gmail emails, how to add addresses to address book

Hi guys

I have a large number of emails in gmail account, I should have added everybody to address book as I went along but never bothered. Now have no contacts in address book but want to add all of the addresses from the emails received. Is there any way to do this in bulk or do I have to go through them all one by one?

click on contacts, in the middle there somewhere there should be "suggested contacts" which is a list of everyone you have mailed "frequently", ie, more then once or twice. select all and add.

note: Ive found a large contact database to be detrimental to picking regular contacts and recently deleted a lot for that very reason.
