I sold my house 2 years ago and was charged a early redemption fee of circa £6000 when there was a month left on the condition. I have seen that if my solicitor had been any good she could have wrote to them and maybe got it waived but she never (won't ever use them again!).
Is there anyway I can get this unreasonable charge back?
