Glentorn, off Killarney Road in Bray

We are seriously considering buying the house we saw for sale in this estate. Anyone who knows the area well?

Mainly just interested in what the neighbourhood is like. What is the athmosphere? Is there any known trouble around?

It's fairly mature - the estate was built in the early 1980's using land surrounding the council estate Ballywaltrim Heights. The sites were sold to private applicants who then built their own homes, hence the differing styles. It's very close to local schools - Bray School Project & St. Fergals (primary) and St. Kilians Community School (secondary). There's a local bus link with the 145 stop just on the main road & a small shop in the estate. On the Boghall Road, there's a small shopping centre with Centra, offie, butcher, GP, chipper & fruit/veg shop. It's 2 mins from the N11 so very handy for road access.

Like anywhere, there's a small element of anti-social behaviour but it appears to be low-key
