Hello, I'm thinking of getting glass blocks put in in the hall, inside the porch, halfway across the hall. About 4 foot wide and c.8 foot high. Approx 3 to 4 sq yards.
[broken link removed]supply glass blocks. I bought some a few months ago and I paid around €100 or so for a box of 10 standard blocks (190 mm x 190 mm) and the adhesive etc. to go with them. If you're reasonably handy you could put them up yourself.
Hi ... I did this about a year ago. Wall about the same as yours - it was a divider between sitting room and kitchen where an alcove might go. I shopped around (Galway) and the cheapest I could get them was about €5 per block. I ended up getting them in B&Q for about €3.50 per block, which when you have 60+ blocks, was a nice little saving. And they're absolutely grand. We did pay a specialist to put them in though.
