Looking to buy in glasnevin around the willow park pinewood area. Was just wondering what the area was like and what access to the city centre in the morning is like
my girlfriend lived there before we moved to citygate last month
19 and 19a go regular to town but in the mornings can get badly snarled in traffic , if you drive then it's not too bad as you can dodge traffic around the side of tolka stadium towards back of croke park to get onto the quays within about 10-15 minutes
area itself is not too bad , lot's of youths (they hang about the shops an awful lot) but they generally don't hassle anyone , you get the odd robbed car / break in but the Gardai from finglas / ballymun are very quick to respond usually.

I have recently moved near there, cederwood. Must say really love it, near town, 1/2 an hour commute to work in park west.. Near M50.
In general the area is very safe, there are kids around the shops, but it is only in the summer that you would really notice them and theydon't bother any one really.
