Glanmire Co Cork

Looking for peoples views on Glanmire Co. Cork.
Looking at buying in Copper Valley Vue - 4 bed semi-d's.
Have heard some bad stories about Glanmire but know others who think the place is fine and is very convenient for Tunnel, Town etc.

its a suburb of a busy city so at times traffic is just yuck! apart from that its anice place to live - what do you want? pubs, restaurants, schools primary & secondary, sports clubs for young and old, evening classes etc, easy access for north link /Dublin road/ tunnel/ east (midleton) - Glanmire has all these so for anything else you get the bus into town.
I never lived in the area so don't want to comment either way.

I've lived there for a year and half and love it. Looking to upgrade houses but will definately stay in Glanmire, so handy for everything, city 15/20 mins away, tunnel 5 mins away so everything is easy to get to, douglas, airport, mahon point etc!
Havent heard anything about Copper Valley view but did see a very nice house on daft.ie there...
