Giving up being self employed

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone can give me some advice, I am currently running my own business but things are not going good at the moment and I was thinking of finishing up, I have been looking for another job but nothing has shown up yet.
If I give up now is there anything I can claim until I find something else?
 
You can claim Jobseeker's Allowance at your local social welfare office, which is means tested if you are unemployed, genuinely seeking, capable of and available for work. You will probably have to deregister as self-employed.
