Giving my TFA to Husband - benefits?

I'm about to be let go & will be signing on from Monday for goodness knows how long :(. My husband & I are currently assessed separately as a married couple (so we could keep roughly the same personal income). Now that I'm signing on, is there any financial benefit for us if I transfer my tax free allowances to himself?
 
You should definately get jointle assessed, your husband can save €1830 in PAYE and possible more if he earns more than €33600, he can now earn up to €45400 on the lower rate of 20%.

You may want to get onto revenue for last year to see if you would have been better off being jointly assessed last year, if so you may get some money back.
