What CAT implications occur, if I gifted my father €150k .I think I can gift him €46k without any implications, any insight would be appreciated.
 
Yes - you can gift a parent €47,673 (aggregate over time - not an annual exemption!) tax free and anything in excess of that is subject to gift tax of 20% payable by your father. If your father is over 65 years old you may look into the tax advantages of making some of the gift as a [broken link removed].
