GHD Hair Straightener purchase

Hi,

Looking at buying one of these as a present, found this site http://www.diy-hair.com/ when i searched in google...
Found one for around 90 euro incl shipping(free shipping supposedly), price seems a bit good to be true..they process payments using paypal - any way i can check them out to see if they are all above board??

I thought to buy from that site but when i mailed them about how genuine the products are, they never responded... Also that site seems to be a chinese site even though they are hosted in US... so if its chinese GHD then definitely its not a genuine product....

Be careful what you buy from a lot of those sites who originate from China, 90 percent of the brand name stuff is counterfeit and if the customs happen to open the product it will be confiscated at your loss. I've had an experience a while back where I purchased some brand name goods to the tune of 160euro and were seized by customs and destroyed..

I bought the Toni&Guy straighteners in Boots last week for 60euro and they seem fine to me. Are the GHD’s all a bit hyped up?
