Getting sterling tomorrow - 27 December

Bureau de Change services also available in e.g. larger post offices, some department stores (Fexco counters) and hotels. Also American Express on Nassau St. and Thomas Cook on Grafton Street in Dublin. I don't know which if any are open tomorrow unfortunately -- could try ringing them in the morning.

Banks open on 28th, but that's probably not much use. If you are travelling, get it from a cash machine when you arrive. If you aren't travelling, would a credit transfer do -- do you really need cash?
 
I'll try the post office. Thanks. That's a good idea. I need it to give to a teenager who's going to England tomorrow. Don't want to put her throught the hassle of changing euro.
 
You could try the JWT bureau de change on the corner of O'Connell St./Henry St. They usually open 7 days a week so I'd say they will be open tomorrow. Their exchange rate is normally quite good too, probably better than the post office.
