Getting engraving on a piece of clear glass removed and replaced with new engraving

Is it possible to get an engraving on a piece of clear glass (base of a trophy) removed and replaced with a new engraving. Its plain clear heavy glass and not crystal

Anyone know of places in Dublin that do this and possible cost?

Dublin crystal based in Dundrum do engraving on almost everything. I got engraved glasses from them last month and they were excellent to deal with. It's worth giving them a call to find out!
