Getting a structural Survey done

Hi,

I am in the middle of trying to research a reputable company/engineer in the Cork area to get a structural survey done.

I had read some very good reports about a company called Property Health Check.

Am just wondering if anyone has used this company before or know how reputable they are

We used Brian O'Kennedy & Associates, Church Road, Douglas for a survey on a house we were purchasing.
Very detailed and very efficient.

Recently bought a house and got Tom Cahill in Glounthaune to do a full structural report and found him brilliant would definitely recommend him.

I had read some very good reports about a company called Property Health Check.

Excellent company to deal with,used them a few times,you deal only with Peter for the survey who has no problem with you tagging along,he explains everything in laymans terms and is very thorough.The report itself is very detailed.

Hi, As my pension is not great, do you think it would be adviseable to purchase a residential property with the intention of rental to boost my income for when I retire. I am a 60 year old PAYE worker and wonder roughly how much tax would I pay on a typical 1000 pm income?
