I wasn't sure which forum for this post, but I reckon 'Consumer Issues' is as good as any.

Check out the BorrowBooks.ie website which allows you to search the catalogues of most libraries round the country and get items sent to your local library for collection. Of course, you need to be a member of your local library.

The only 'catch' seems to be the limit of 5 items at any one time - I've hit my limit with some enthusiastic borrowing of Tex/Mex music (Gene Autry, Tex Ritter, Woody Guthrie and even our own Frankie Lane). Enjoy....

Libraries are often forgotten as a source of almost free DVD's and music.
Most also offer free internet access too.

Yes indeed. I'm a member of two libraries near me and they are an excellent source for CD's and DVD's.

I usually use their respective websites to reserve and order items.
