Hi All,

Hope you had a nice Christmas!

Looking for somewhere City Centre (Dublin) to get a link taken off a a Watch Bracelet. Arms to skinny even after the Turkey & Ham.

Any Recommendations?

Probably an obvious question but

have you checked if you can remove links yourself?

Any watch I've had with removable links usually had little arrows etched on them to show which way the link bars were to be pushed so that the links could be removed.

Worth a look ... might save you money! :)

Brendan, got in the good ol USA as a pressie for me.

Paddy, going to give that a try. Just googled it. It seems very easy to do it.

Cheers all!

Des Byrne 26 Bachelors Walk,Dublin 1 are quite good.

Thanks for the Recommendation W200.

Well, through the power of a Thumb Tack, I managed to do it.

Rather simple as it turns out. The power of google, eh?

Earned me a mince pie for that.

For those that may need to know:
  • What You Need: Clear Surface, Thumb Tack, Good Light.
  • There is an arrow which shows in which direction the pin needs to be pushed to remove it.
  • Look carefully and you see that one end of the pin is slotted a little, the other is plain. Push the plain end in the direction of the arrow firmly. BE CAREFUL AND TAKE TIME! Don't want the thumb tack to end in your thumb!
  • Get Thumb Tack and put firm pressure and then it suddenly gives.
  • Draw the pin out by hand.
  • Sliding the pin back was simple, though take care to get the smaller links the right way up when it is re-threaded.
