Can anyone recommend a commerical or residential property syndicate for Germany?

There seems to be a growing number of these syndicates and demand for them appears to be very strong in Ireland right now. The minimum investment is often quite high - circa €250,000. The Belfry 7 fund has closed and they will probably launch another one later this year. I have also heard of the Augusta funds but do not know their track record.

Has anyone invested in a German syndicate or can you recommend one? I am looking for something with a minimum investment of about €50,000?

thanks,

Most syndicates would require at least 100K. Alternatively you could invest directly on the DAX. There is a couple of companies there that are exposed to the german property market.

Hi there ret45 - I have the number of a financial broker that has packages like the one you are thinking about. If you would like pm me and I'll pass on the details.

PLease note - I have no link to the company - a friend of mine (who has done very well) recomended him to us

Phoenix, checked DAX companies and the only one focussed on property is Hypo Real Estate, however they are well diversified outside of the German property market. Are you aware of any that are focussed on the German market only?

I invested with an Irish company called Augusta with website of the same name .ie
They do English and German commercial property. The one I invested in was min 50k and was German commercial property, 5 year investment. My accountant recommended them to me. There has been plenty about them in the papers.

Yeah i think they only have a 30% share in the market. Not aware of any other companies. I pm'd some details.
