Every December the girls go on a city break and normally take in a Christmas market as well. Last year it was Edinburgh which was a fabulous authentic German market. This year, because the pound is so strong against sterling we were thinking of either Birmingham or Leeds, both of which I heard have great markets before Christmas. Leaning towards Leeds as it's so close to York which is supposed to be magical at this time of year. Any comments appreciated.
