Hey -there has been a lot of talk about thes already on this forum.

However - my question is,why do all these property funds seeem to only look at germany?
Ya - the economy is starting to pick up again and all the rest of it blah,blah,blah.
Yet the same argument could be made in that case for residential property in germany - and that is STILL dropping !
But there are plenty of other countries around teh world !
Like - bar the odd one,nearly ALL funds go for germany (and uk too admittedly)

So - why Germany?
 
I guess it's because:

- no currency risk for Irish investors
- Germany is getting lots of good, economic press
- it's now a "trusted" location, given all the good press it's getting
- those putting syndicates togeather can get satisfactory legal advice, banking etc
- yields are reasonably good, while risk is "low to medium"



Where else would you like to consider / propose ?

I don't have any other place to propose.

Just thought it remarkable that pretty much all of them look at gERMANY - WHILE IT'S GENERALLY AVOIDED FOR RESIDENTIAL INVESTMENT.
