German Amplifier seperate

I got an old technics amplifier from a friend of mine who bought it in Germany and he gave it to me as he has bought a new one. He has never used it in Ireland. It has 2 voltage settings on the back. 220-240 and 110 - 127.

Do I need a transformer to use this in Ireland? Or is the 220-240 setting right for us here?

You should not need any transformer. 220-240V is the correct voltage setting for Ireland. See [broken link removed].
