Made a few enquiries about about geothermal heating for a new build. i enquired with three companies who all advised me differently.
The ground at my site is gravel/Stone based which two sales reps said is not suitable for the horizontal pipe system but one said it was fine. One rep Said I would have to use the borehole system and one Rep said I would Have to use an Air to Water System. the rep who said that the horizontal pipe system was ok said that the air to water system is not very good at all.
Can anyone advise me on the merits of the above systems. What is the air to water system?
I am extremely sceptical about the system due to the sales reps tactics/knowledge as it is so expensive and may not work correctly.
