There are some things about George that I like:-
1. He makes no apologies for the fact that his mother paid weekly from her sparse earnings to put him through a private school in Cork.
2. His work as a caterer went pear shape and he was honest in his dealings with his suppliers even the banks. He settled with all.
3. His wife (obviously, a saint of a woman) accepted his humility when he ended his wayward ways.
4. Like him or hate him, he calls every situation as he sees it. OK he embellishes his commentary also and what is wrong with a bit of colour.
He gets interrupted quite a lot, especially by Mr McGurk. I feel Mr McGurk thinks he is being upstaged much of the time.
Watching a rugby international without George is like watching the News without Colonel Gaddafy.
