General investment options

Hi all,

In the near future I am thinking about opening a fund for my parents for their retirement. (Lets just call it payback)

The thinking being I submit around €200 monthly into an option for approximately 5 years.

With this in mind, the first option I have is to pay this into a bank account however can anyone recommend other options that would do better yield wise..

Risk wise I guess I would be considering low to medium options however I would be happy to hear all recommendations from anyone that would be happy to advise.

The bank /post office option is the best for such a short investment time frame (in my opinion).
