Hi there
Just got my gas fire delivered along with my new fireplaces, unfortunatly the suppliers usual GAS fitter is on holidays for the next 2 weeks, so I called up another local fitter...
I've purchased a "Solar" gas fire, as the supplier said it is the only one they stock that would fit my cast iron insert.
When I called our local fitter he advised against putting this one in, as he fitted one 5 months previously and had to take it out a month later, due to poor heat and flame quality.
He advised fitting a "KOKA" fire instead for an extra 150 euro.
Has anyone any experience of these two brands or what I should do as I've already paid a cheque on delivery of the Solar fire????
