I'm looking for advice about purchasing a new gas fire. Our current gas fire is now out of commission, after only two years. We had it installed two years ago at a cost of €800 by a supplier in south Dublin. Three weeks ago following a suspected leak I got Bord Gais to call to the house and they declared the gas fire unsafe.
I wrote to the suppliers but have so far received no response, and I feel its unlikely they will be willing to do anything about it. Therefore I've decided not to pursue them further, but am considering getting a replacement fire from a more reliable supplier.
Can anyone recommend a reliable gas fire supplier and installer in the Dublin area? Thanks in advance.
