Hi Guys,

hoping you may be able to help me. My central heating cut out. It had been working fine and is a pretty new system. It is a condenser system. On the unit the is an Off setting, a boiler thermostat setting, a manual overheat reset, a power indicator and a burner light indicator light.

I turned the setting to off, then turned it on again.I could hear the system making noise as if working then after about thirty seconds it cuts out and the burner light indciator goes on. Is there anythiing simple I can do to fix the myself.it is a Ravenheat system.

as ever thank you for your time

Hey guys,

This problem has occurred again - last time had to call a guy out. And unfortunately I wasn't actually about when the chap called over, so I'm not sure what action he took to resolve it. Seeing as its a bank holiday today, won't be able to grab anyone - wondering if anyone would have any advice?

Thanks for your time.

Not overly familiar with Ravenheat (thank god!)
But if it actually lights it sounds like a rectification failure, which I believe
is a common fault with those boilers, and the probe needs replacing, you
cannot dot hat yourself at all and would require a gas registered engineer
