I have gas boiler in a hot press which I am about to convert into a bathroom. Is there any reason why the gas boiler can't remain where it is which would mean that it would be in the bathroom?

Thanks

We have our boiler in the downstairs W/C, and the plans were drawn up by engineer, passed by the council and implemented by the plumber, so I reckon it should be OK. Hope that helps,Michelle.

I wouldn't be sure that steam from a shower/bath combined with the metal/mechanics/electric of a boiler would be a good combination.

It won't comply with the Wiring Rules unless it's more than 3 metres from the edge of the bath or shower.
