Gas BBQ recommendation

Hi

Has anyone bought a gas BBQ recently they could recommend? Would love a weber but they are too expensive. Looking for a 3 or 4 burner. Don't really need a side burner. Porcelain or cast iron grills

Have spent ages looking online and in shops. Home store and more had a great half price sale but they are totally sold out.

Any recommendations or good experiences with particular brands?

Hi rustbucket, you should have posted this in the other forum for recommending suppliers, but maybe someone will move it.

As with anything, you get what you pay for. We have a Weber, which we've had now for 12 years, and its still going strong.

I think it cost €600 and came with a fitted cover. It's really good quality and if you look after it and clean it thoroughly after use, it'll last a long time.

Hello,

We also have a Weber, was not cheap when we bought it but has proven to be a very good quality purchase.

If buying new is not an option, why not see if you can get one second hand ?

Paid about 100 or so for a bbq last year a bit small but perfectly formed

For the amount we get to use it, works fine.

Father in law bought one and left it outside over the winter and now it is in a heap.

They are very simple so make sure you need all the bells and whistles and will get the use and have somewhere to store it before spending too much cash.

I've just ordered a baby weber (Q1200) from bbqworld.co.uk They're worth checking out, even with the bad GBP exchange rate at the moment their offers compare well and courier delivery to Ireland was £12.95 which I'm very happy with.

No connection with them, I've just ordered this last night and waiting on it
