Garmin Sat Nav - Which One?

Hi Everyone and Merry Christmas,

I am looking to buy my boyfriend a Sat Nav for Christmas. He has said he wants a Garmin sat nav but left it up to me to decide which one. I was thinking of spending around €300 for it.

I think the Garmin nuvi 250W looks good. He would like the widescreen kind and I don't think he needs all that 300-range bluetooth stuff as he has a car kit. It has Ireland, UK and Europe so that is enough.

Anyone have this sat nav, is it good?

Have a Garmin Nuvi 250 (the non wide screen one) paid around 250 in Harvey Norman, but might be going cheaper now. Fantastic piese of kit, widescreen is more expensive but obviously includes a wider screen. Functionality is identical otherwise.
 
TBH, given the grief people have with pixmania, you might be better going somewhere local, particularly if it is for a xmas present
