Garden shed are they worthwhile?

I am thinking of getting a wooden garden shed about 10' x 8' in size (?). Mainly to potter/sit in during the summer as I have a garage where I can store most larger items. Lots of places on line to choose from. Any recommendations for suppliers and any advice or suggestions much appreciated.

I see that there are some interesting potting sheds available if you are in to growing your own. Expensive though.

I don't think the OP means to literally 'potter in' the shed IsleofMan ... more a shed to hang out in/laze about in.

OP ..... Have a look at the Argos ones. Also, do a search on [broken link removed] for offers.

Also check out B&Q. Try to get one with a window as it makes a big difference.

The ones with the verandas look good. Visions of sitting there with a cup of tea after cutting the grass looks nice. I wonder how many people actually use the verandas though, so are they worth the extra cost? I vaguely remember my Dad saying that his gardening tools rusted in the garden shed so ended up putting them back in his garage.

My parents have one with a veranda for years now, the veranda was never used.
