garden advice- house in bog

We have a large garden we're looking to make child friendly but haven't a clue where to start. We have concrete drive with large grass area to the front but gravel to the back. We really wanna do something eith the back to make it child friendly (1 and 4yr old) the main problem is house is built on piles( not sure if thats the right phrasing) but the driveway and gardens aren't so as result our driveway is dropping and there's a slope to the grass at front. Does anyone know anything bout this and what our options are? We don't have a huge budget at the mo but definitely would love to do it in stages
 
is this a rural site?
for cheap advice talk to a local farmer about drainage. this could be as simple as a strategically placed below ground drain of stones with backfilled soil
