Game Of Thrones - Sky Atlantic TV series

Anyone else watching this?

I have just finished Book 3 of the series and watched the first 4 episodes of the TV series over the weekend (episode 5 tonight @ 9pm)

I have to say that the TV series is fantastic (as are the books) and captures the book brilliantly with very little being left out, as far as I can see.

Hopefully they continue to make a TV series out of each of the books.

It's a HBO series. SKY Atlantic have yet to develop any original drama.

Season 2 was confirmed once they saw the viewer figures for the Season One opening episode.

Not my cup of tea. I read Lord of the Rings when I was a teenager and I haven't had an interest in that type of fiction, or drama, since then.

Not my thing either but my son loves it. I am assuming it has a lot of blood, guts and female flesh in it!

You assume correctly! Sure what more does a lad want in a TV series

I'd never heard of the books before the HBO series. Bought Game of Thrones in Easons today and will be getting into it

Can't wait for tonights episode!

Oh yes! Even the trailers were a bit much for me!

Haven't read the books, but am enjoying the TV series...there's some male flesh on show too

(and I watched both of the Spartacus series too.....there's no hope for me, really!!)
