iPOD, digital camera, wireless router, computer bits, walkie talkies are all cheaper in the US but watch out that power supplies are rated 110-240V otherwise you will have a problem with the voltage when you bring them back.
Circuit City and Best Buy are your best options for this type of purchase, but prices on their internet sites tend to be cheaper than the shops due to lower running costs etc, spent ages trying to get a black iTrip for a mate only to be told they are available off the net
