Hi Guys,

Ive been reading some negative reviews in relation to FXCM trading platform on here.

Ive a considerable investment with them, and have had a few small issues with them over the years i.e. hidden fees etc etc, nothing major. Bare in mind i havnt actually carried out anything of note i.e. withdrawals etc.

I currently looking at further investments, and im just trying to gauge investors experience with FXCM, down the road when im looking to cash in.

Would it be anyway prudent to take my funds out of FXCM and look to invest via another broker, or at least not use them for further transactions?

I suppose a follow on from this, what would be the most recommended, transparent platform out there? Would Davy, Goodbody etc be worth using, close to home like?

PS: My current shares are all US stocks, and likely same for future interests.

Thanks,

Dave

People will always leave negative reviews after they gamble with their money and lose.
It's always easier to blame the broker than yourself.

What do you trade and what you want to trade? Also what you know about trading is the real question.

I must say I find FXCM's Phoenix platform overly complicated.
Night and day comparison to US brokers like Etrade, Fidelity, Schwab.
