I'd like to lock into the PLN rate at the moment for an apartment I'm due close on in a few months. How does one go about organising a forward contract to pruchase PLN?

The PLN has been on a marked weakening trend and with whats currently happening in financial markets this could continue -to your benefit. You might consider delaying fixing the forward rate and continue to monitor the current and fwd rates
