Hi all

I am interested in undertaking some form of study in law. I already have a business degree and other qualifications. I would be interested in distance learning if possible as I won't be able to attend lectures too often. Does anyone know of any good courses/institutions out there?

Any advice appreciated on this - thanks

Re: Further Education - Law

Do you want to study Irish Law ?

If so, I think your options are limited. You could purchase the home study materials from Griffith College. These prepare you for the Blackhall entrance exams. Now they are exam prep materials therefore very concise and to the point. If you want to stidy law out of interest, this may not be very suitable. Won't go ino the grand ideals of justice etc....Also, these exams do not constitute a qualification as such.

Perhaps a post grd diploma in one of the NUI law faculties ? Not sure what the entry requirements are though. DIT also do a legal diploma too, fukll time though.

HMMM, its a toughie.

Have been looking at some of the degree courses but all they offer is full time. It's a pity you can't get some good distance courses in ireland. There are loads in the UK but UK law is not much good to me here if I ever decided to go the solicitor/barrister route
