Hi Everyone,

I'm planning on travelling to Cork on Sunday next to get a sofa / three piece. Can anyone let me know where I would find the biggest range of furniture shops (fairly close together). I presume there must be a business park or something similiar.

Thanks,

Milly

There are a good number in the city centre or close to the city centre.
Look at Right Price on Blarney Street, www.rightprice.ie

The New Furniture Centre in Blackpool.

Casey's on Oliver Plunkett Street.

Also in Black pool Shopping centre is Reids and Land of Leather,

I am not reccomending any of these places just letting you know where they are.

I am sure there are many many more.

There is a large industrial estate at the Kinsale Road Roundabout, Harvey Normans is there, not too many furniture shops there though more tiles and the like.

There is another place on North Main Street but cannot think of the name.

North main street -- Munster furniture(some good stuff) and the loft(cheaper stuff)
Washington street -- Square deal (also own the loft but slightly better stuff)
Oliver plunket St. -- Caseys ( lovely stuff but expensive)

All within 5 mins walk of each other

Thanks for your replies, I have a budget of about 2K. It seems that most of the shops are city centre then - do you think they will all be open on sunday, isn't it normally from 2p.m. to 6p.m. or so.

Thanks again,

Milly
