Does anyone know of a good reasonably priced furniture restorer.
We need a 1950s wooden kitchen table of great sentimental rather than monetary value restored.

About 10 years ago I could have given you a list as long as your arm.
I fear some or all of these may have finished with this type of work.
I did it for a long while and tried to make money at it but it's not possible to make any money any more at this business, the range of skills needed is quite awesome, and people just won't pay what it costs.
Best way is to put an advert in a news paper.
If someone wanted me to restore and finish a table now I'd charge €600 or more, there is just too much work involved
