Furnishing an investment property in Warsaw

I am due to take posession of an investment property in late September/early October, it is located in the Mokotow area of Warsaw.. The apartment was purchased off the plans 18 months ago and is approx. 60 meters squared in size. It has one bedroom and the usual living/bathroom arrangements. The issue I now have is in 'kiting' out the apartment. And this poses a few questions for me; what standard is expected by those renting in Warsaw? What are the going rates for furnishing such an apartment? Are there specialist company's undertaking such work? If so, has anybody got a recommendation? Sorry for all the questions but I'm at the begining of the process in this regard. Any help in addressing the above questions would be appreciated.

Thanks.

the IKEA standard is the holy grail of kitting out flats in Warsaw. I suggest you have a look at the IKEA website find a floor plan that appeals to you and price accordingly. IKEA is an international brand so the prices in Warsaw are the same as IKEA in the UK (or rather they were before the pound went into freefall) - I cannot speak about the prices in Eire as I have never visited an IKEA there
then I suggest you fly to Warsaw, go shopping in IKEA Brudno or IKEA Janki, arrange delivery and assembly (or do it yourself)
you will have to be onsite whilst furniture installation is in progress.
You can see if your agent would be willing to help, but it is highly unlikely.

Thanks hythorn, that sounds like a good alternative to what I had in mind, i.e., get a third party to do it from top to bottom. The problem I have is lack of time to spend in Warsaw. I would have no problem with doing the ground work here and getting a good idea as to what would be a good spec for the apartment. Having done that I would ideally need to be able to source somebody out there to oversee the fit out. Do you know if any management company would be interested in taking this on? I could use the carrot that I would be willing to use them to look after the property on a long term basis for me, which is an issue I also have to address in the short term.

Hi, before I answer this question, can I ask you what sort of response you got from the estate agent who sold you the property? or did you buy from the developer directly?
