I want to put a funky, modern, mainly glass, 2 storey extension at the back of my large edwardian red-brick house, I need an architect who has done similar, any suggestions?
Spend a half hour in a bookshop through those "House monthly" or ”life & home magazines” and you will usually see the name of the architect attached the project. Look for a project similar to your own ideas.
Yes, I've done all that but nothing jumped out at me and by definition all such articles are self-congratulatory. I'd prefer to talk to someone who went through the process and could point out the pros and cons of working with a particular architect.
