Fund Raising

Not sure if this is the correct thread but a friend of mind want to do some raising for a project for elderly people with dementia because he sees how these people are neglected in care homes.

My question is how can he do this fund raising does he have to registered it or does it have to be a company.

Any help would be apperciated.

I would imagine he would need to contact one of the voluntary agencies who care and advocate for the aged in Ireland. It is a good idea though, much needed and very good of him to consider it.
