This one is fairly recent Alton Towers trip.

Have a look at below Stenaline deal to Oakwood Park in Wales via Rosslare Harbour. Transport provided to theme park from ferry. I did it years ago and thought it was a good day out and very reasonably priced. It caters seperately for both families and drunken teenagers/20 somethings.

We went to Alton Towers last year. 200euro each for three nights accommodation and into the theme park for 3 people went via stena line at dublin port and to be honest couldnt complain re anything except for there was no where to eat on the site of the hotel in the evenings. Stayed in the Stafford if i remember correctly. (Included in the above price).
