Can an Employer:

A) make you sign a new contract when you reduce your working hours, which reduces your rights as compared to your original employment contract?

B) treats you less favouably wrt to employment benefits as compared to other part-time employees?
 
Hi Goldfish, All your rights remain the same, but your time off is PRO - RATA. . You cannot be treated different because you are part time. Its the law.Check oasis.gov.ie regards.l
