Just wondering what kind of money we're talking. A 3 bed terraced with a lot of chasing to be done - solid walls all over the place! Spots downstairs, surround sound (downstairs), alarm. Other than that nothing too fancy at all. (House is in Dublin 12)

Hi, I've been looking at a run down 2 bed terrace recently that requires complete rewiring and I've been asking lots of people and everyone has said €4-5k.

However none of these people were electricians so pince of salt required.

A house re-wire would cost approx 5grand. work for a builder so that is the general price that we get off our electrician
 
Thanks a lot, seem to be around the figures I'm being told alright. Budgeting around E7k as I want spots in both living rooms, the hall, and the kitchen.
 
Please update with the actual figures you pay when you do as I am looking same job
 
A budget of 7- 8k to include all relevant builders works/ chasing etc. Should even see change out of that.
