R RS2K Registered User Messages 2,251 11 Nov 2008 #2 The wheel is stuck on the axle. Give it a few taps with a hammer (use a block of wood to avoid damaging the wheel). Use axle stands too.

Z z104 Guest 11 Nov 2008 #5 Thanks All, Aparently the soft alloy when heated sticks to the metal. A good whack of a sledge hammer freed her. Brute force and pig ignorance ruled the day..
