Front wheel change on 06 ford fiesta

Hi, Just attempted to change front wheel on a 06 ford fiesta. took off 4 nuts , jacked her up. wheel will not lift or come off.

am i missing something??:confused:
 
The wheel is stuck on the axle. Give it a few taps with a hammer (use a block of wood to avoid damaging the wheel). Use axle stands too.
 
sit down on yer bum facing the wheel and with a nice sharp kick the tyre with the bottom of your foot. :) ( dont wear heels :p
 
Thanks All, Aparently the soft alloy when heated sticks to the metal.

A good whack of a sledge hammer freed her.

Brute force and pig ignorance ruled the day..:D
